TOURNAMENTSAn enchanted forest, five reels, and dice that vanish the moment they form a combination. Dice of Magic borrows from the classic slot while keeping the cubes the Belgian market holds dear.
Released in April 2016 and still among the most played titles in the catalogue, it owes its longevity to a rare balance: frequent wins, a cascade mechanic that stretches out the rounds, and four progressive pots that can drop at any moment.
The action unfolds in a night-time forest where the reels stand out against a backdrop of trunks and fireflies. The dice occupy the usual positions, coloured turquoise, pink, green and red according to their value.
Watching over them are the two figures that give the game its character: a bearded wizard and a pink crystal ball. The first substitutes, the second triggers.
The sound design stays restrained, punctuated by a chime with every symbol wiped away. Nothing intrusive, which matters on a title where cascades readily follow one another.
The machine rests on five reels and a number of lines you choose yourself: 1, 10, 15, 20 or 25.
A combination starts at three identical symbols on an active line. The paytable draws a clear distinction: turquoise and pink pay the least, green and red rather more, and the special symbols top the ranking.
Stakes are set between €0.01 and €10.00, a wide bracket accommodating cautious sessions as readily as heavier play. Covering all 25 lines mechanically raises the cost of a round, but also the chances of landing.
This is the mechanic that sets the title apart from most dice slots in the catalogue.
When a combination pays, the symbols involved disappear rather than stay in place. New ones then drop from above to fill the gaps, and if the fresh arrangement forms a combination, it pays in turn.
A single round can therefore produce several. That cascade explains the game's apparent generosity: modest wins often follow one another, giving the impression of a title that pays without stopping — an impression the return rate tempers.
The two special symbols play complementary roles.
The wizard is the wild. It appears solely on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 — never on the first — and stands in for every symbol except the crystal ball. That positional restriction counts: a combination cannot be completed by a wild on its starting point.
The crystal ball is the scatter, a classic found on most modern dice games. Three of them open seven extra rounds, during which the reels spin without drawing on your balance. The series can restart if fresh balls turn up along the way.
Dice of Magic carries Amusnet's Jackpot Cards feature, shared across several of the studio's titles.
Four pots are at stake, fed continuously by the stakes of every player. They depend on no combination at all: the trigger is random and can land at the end of any round, whatever the amount staked.
One useful clarification: those pots sit on top of the base game ceiling. They are not included in the maximum win set out below.
After a win below 35 times your stake, an option appears under the amount won: try to double it by guessing the colour of a card, red or black.
A correct answer doubles the sum, a wrong one wipes it out entirely. It is a coin toss, with no advantage either way.
The arithmetic is quick to set out. On a €5 win, you stake €5 to gain another €5, with a one-in-two chance. The expectation is neutral, but the variance grows considerable if you string attempts together.
Three figures sum up how the game behaves over time.
The return rate stands at 96.1%, slightly above the market average. Across millions of rounds, 96.1 cents come back to players for every euro staked.
The volatility is low to medium. Wins arrive often but stay contained, which suits long sessions and modest budgets. Do not count on this title for a single spectacular hit.
The maximum win reaches 1,000 times the stake in the base game, excluding progressive jackpots. At €10 a round, that comes to €10,000, paid into your account through instant payout.
The game runs from the browser, on computer as on phone, with no installation. The display reorganises vertically and the staking controls grow.
A trial version on play credit lets you get to grips with setting the lines and watch the cascades before committing money. More useful here than elsewhere: the wipe mechanic takes a few rounds to understand.
Dice of Magic targets the player who prefers regularity to long waits. The cascades keep the rhythm going, the seven extra rounds arrive often enough to stay credible, and the line settings leave real latitude over what a session costs.
Its limits are the flip side of its qualities. A 1,000× ceiling remains modest against high-volatility titles, and the gamble feature flatters impatience more than it serves the player.
The four progressive pots make up for that in part, reintroducing the chance of a large win without depending on a rare combination.
The title sits among the dice slots at Casino King, alongside the other Amusnet productions. And if the cascades appeal, Gates of Olympus Dice pushes the same logic a good deal further.
96.1%, a little above the average for dice slots on the market.
Up to 1,000 times your stake in the base game, with the four progressive pots on top, independent of that ceiling.
By landing three crystal balls. Seven rounds are granted, restartable if fresh balls appear.

Non. Les quatre cagnottes se déclenchent de façon aléatoire, quelle que soit la mise engagée.
