CASINO GAMES
TOURNAMENTSBanana King Max is a dice slot casino game released in July 2015 and developed by WorldMatch. This jungle-themed title draws its visual inspiration from classic arcade games, with a graphical style reminiscent of Donkey Kong.
You can play it at Casino King, the nieuwe online casino Belgium. This guide walks through how it works, its symbols and its technical features, so you know exactly what to expect.
Banana King Max runs on a grid of 5 reels and 3 rows, with 25 paylines. Combinations form from left to right, and only the highest win is paid out on each active line.
To land a win, you need to line up at least 3 matching symbols on the same payline. Before each spin, you decide how many lines are active and which bet level you play at. That control lets you tailor your style of play to your budget.
Bets range from €0.01 to €50 per spin, depending on the level you choose. That broad range makes the game suitable both for players sticking to a small budget and for those willing to stake more in pursuit of bigger wins.
The game's visual identity revolves entirely around a gorilla, the central figure of the title. The reels are framed by dense foliage, with vines and fireflies that together conjure the atmosphere of a jungle at night.
The paytable also features a set of classic symbols: bananas, cherries, a crown and playing cards (9, 10, J, Q, K, A). These playing cards act as the low-value symbols, so they land most often but pay out the least.
The Ape symbol, the gorilla itself, is the most rewarding symbol in the game. Five Ape symbols on the same payline pay 500 coins, which also matches the game's fixed jackpot.
The coconut takes on the role of Wild: it substitutes for all other symbols to complete a winning combination. Only the Scatter sits outside this substitution rule.
The Scatter symbol itself, represented by a small, frightened monkey, triggers the free spins round as soon as it appears in sufficient numbers on the grid.
The number of free spins depends on how many Scatter symbols appear at once:
3 Scatters award 15 free spins
4 Scatters award 30 free spins
5 Scatters award 60 free spins
These free spins play out with the same number of active paylines as at the moment they were triggered.
Banana King Max also includes a separate bonus game, which you unlock by collecting 3 Bonus symbols on the grid. In this mini-game, you help the shy gorilla gather bananas. Each banana you pick reveals a prize, and the round continues until the "collect" symbol appears, which brings the bonus phase to an end.
The RTP (return to player) of Banana King Max is 91.80%. That sits below the sector average for online slots, but it is consistent with the game's high volatility.
That volatility is indeed rated as high. In practice, this means you win less often in the base game, but when a win does land, it can be substantial. Anyone choosing this type of game should therefore expect longer runs without a win in between the bigger hits.
The maximum win in Banana King Max is 1,000 times your stake. That potential is concentrated mainly in the free spins round and the mini bonus game, where the largest amounts are up for grabs.
You can play Banana King Max on both desktop and mobile. The game has no bonus-buy feature: you can only reach the free spins and the mini-game through a natural trigger during play, rather than purchasing them directly.
WorldMatch is an online casino games developer known for machines with an aesthetic that leans on classic arcade games. Banana King Max grew into one of the strongest titles in the studio's catalogue. The game proved popular enough to receive a recent overhaul under the name Banana King, adding a bonus-buy option and a completely refreshed graphical style.
Banana King Max offers a nostalgic jungle experience with an RTP of 91.80% and high volatility. The Wild Coconut, the free spins reaching up to 60 spins and the mini-game where you gather bananas form the heart of this title. With a maximum win of 1,000 times your stake, Banana King Max remains a reference point among the animal-themed games in the WorldMatch catalogue.
