TOURNAMENTSGlowing dice dropping against a backdrop of nebulae, four grids to fill and a bonus board hidden among the stars: Cosmigon opens its round like a lift-off. This review takes apart how this Air Dice title works, filed among the online dice game selection at Casino King. Dice placement, a 100-point threshold and a polished space theme: the countdown is on.
The studio swaps its classic tables here for an intergalactic voyage. Cosmic objects, futuristic symbols and seamless animations dress the playing area. The science-fiction mood slips into every detail, from the starry background to the dice faces.
The game makes no secret of its kinship with the other house titles. You recognise the placement mechanic Air Dice holds dear, only transposed into a world of spaceships and galaxies. A safe bet in an explorer's suit.
The principle stays clear. On every turn, a vertical column of three dice appears, and you must drop it into one of the four 3x3 grids. The choice of grid is yours, and it is that choice that shapes the whole strategy.
The goal comes down to one rule. You have to line up three matching dice, horizontally or diagonally, on one of the five active paylines. Each line earns points, and you need at least 100 of them to win.
The figures at a glance:
Type: placement dice game, space theme
Playing area: 4 grids of 3x3
Paylines: 5, fixed
Goal: 3 matching dice in a line or diagonal
Win threshold: at least 100 points
Theoretical RTP: 96%
Progressive jackpot: none
Nothing to do, then, with a slot you simply sit through. Here every column you place demands a decision, and you can combine several lines and several grids to stack the wins within a single round.
Two families of symbols share the grids. The dice faces handle the everyday wins, the lowest ones paying the least. Three Chinese characters step up a notch and are worth between 60 and 120 points depending on their rank.
The multiplier system rewards those who take ground. Points across three grids apply a x1.5 to your score, and filling all four grids lifts the coefficient to x2. A whole grid of nine matching symbols hands over a cosmic bonus of 200 extra points.
The real show begins with the Cosmic Advance Bonus. Three bonus symbols lined up on a payline are enough to open it. The screen then switches to a mini board game, in the style of a galactic game of goose.
You get five free dice throws there. Each throw moves your token forward and unlocks rewards: cash wins, Mystery Games, or re-rolls that extend the adventure. A genuine turn within the turn, where luck guides the progress.
The Mystery Games are the key to the big sessions. Once secured, they transform the base game's prize table: every prize is suddenly worth 100 times the stake. The potential then shifts scale entirely.
One condition remains, the same as everywhere. You still have to clear the 100-point threshold to bank anything. Beyond it, the mix of Mystery Games and multipliers can send the counter soaring in just a few rounds.
The theoretical return to player stands at 96%. A figure within the market norm, with no progressive jackpot to inflate it. The exact rate can vary with the operator's configuration, and the paytable remains the reference.
The handling aims for simplicity. An autoplay mode strings the turns together for you, and the loading screen even lets you set the graphics quality or switch off certain animations. Enough to tailor the game to your machine and to your pace alike.
On mobile, nothing is lost. The column of dice slides under your fingertip towards the chosen grid, and the responsive design keeps up on smartphone and tablet. A demo mode, finally, lets you practise without staking, before moving on to real money.
Cosmigon dresses a genuine placement game in a well-judged space theme. The Cosmic Advance Bonus brings the spectacle, the Mystery Games lift the ceiling to 100 times the stake, and the multipliers reward tactical sense. It all stays accessible from the very first round.
Its balance speaks to dice fans who like to think before they place. Every grid filled edges closer to the bonus, every decision weighs on the final score. The galaxy is only waiting for your first column.
Fancy extending the journey with Air Dice? Lux Dice carries the same placement mechanic over to a golden theme, while Infinity Dice pushes the dice towards the infinite. Two more stops to try across this casino Belgium.
