An online casino in Belgium works differently from what you find elsewhere in Europe. The rules are stricter, the minimum age is higher, and above all a family of games grew up here that barely exists anywhere else: dice games.
Casino King is built around that speciality, with dice games, dice slots, jackpots, roulette and automated tables. This page explains what separates those categories from one another, how to read a game before staking on it, and what genuinely changes when you play on a Belgian-licensed site.
Plenty of sites pile up hundreds of titles without ever saying how they differ. That is unhelpful, because a dice game and a slot demand neither the same concentration, nor the same length of session, nor the same bankroll management.
Some titles call for constant judgement: you place, you choose, you live with it. Others start with a single click and run without you. Some titles call for constant judgement: you place, you choose, you live with it. Others start with a single click and run without you. Between the two, roulettes played in the live casino online section impose a third rhythm, that of the wheel itself.
Knowing which category you are stepping into prevents a good deal of confusion, starting with the habit of looking for strategy where none exists.
The genre owes its existence to a legal quirk. Belgium regulates gaming arcades separately, with their own rules on stakes and payouts. To stay within that framework while still offering something appealing, studios devised games where you place dice on a grid instead of spinning reels.
The principle is quick to grasp and slow to master. Each turn hands you a column of three dice, and you alone decide which box it goes into. Points land when matching faces line up, under rules that vary from title to title: some count only horizontals and diagonals, others reserve verticals for triggering the bonus.
That element of choice transforms the tempo of a session. Two players dealt exactly the same dice never build the same grid. The full selection sits on the dice games page.
The label points the wrong way, and the doubt is worth clearing up straight away. This has nothing to do with placing dice: you are facing a fully fledged slot, spinning reels and active lines included. The only thing borrowed from the dice world is the artwork on the symbols.
No placement, then, and no decision once the spin is running. In exchange, this family gathers the most spectacular mechanics: cascades paying several wins in a row, multipliers stacking up, symbols expanding across a whole reel, grids that grow during free spins.
It is also where the highest win ceilings sit, sometimes several thousand times the stake. Everything is gathered on the dice slots page.
One word covers two opposite realities. The fixed version caps the prize at a stated multiple of the stake, unchanging, and therefore possible to weigh up before committing anything.
A progressive jackpot, by contrast, swells with every stake placed across the network, sometimes fed by several linked games. The counter climbs in front of you and can reach striking sums, with an arithmetic price to pay: the more generous the prize, the rarer it falls.
One detail is worth knowing about progressives: higher stakes generally open more chances of landing the prize. The titles concerned sit together on the jackpot games page.
On table games, the choice of version is anything but cosmetic. European roulette has a single zero, the French version adds rules that soften losses on even-money bets, and the American carries two. That one difference shifts the house edge by margins that are far from trivial.
Blackjack, baccarat and video poker round out the card offering. Their software versions move at whatever pace you set, without depending on a table of other players, and usually open at more modest amounts.
Live follows another logic: a real wheel on camera, spun by a mechanism, or a virtual wheel, with no dealer in either case and a betting window counting down. There it is the round that sets the pace, not you. Found on the roulette and card games pages.
The first is the return to player, or RTP. It states the share of stakes a game returns over the very long run, and generally sits between 95 and 97%. It appears in each game's help screen.
One caution, though: some titles exist in several configurations, and the operator chooses which one goes live. The same game may therefore show 96% here and 94% elsewhere. The only figure that concerns you is the one in the in-game help, on the site where you actually play.
The second indicator is volatility. Low means frequent but modest wins; high alternates long dry spells with sudden results. Neither is better than the other: it depends on the budget available and the time you want to spend.
Almost the entire catalogue launches in demonstration, on a play-money balance, with no deposit and no registration. The mechanic is rigorously identical to the paid version; only the money differs.
The value goes beyond simply getting acquainted. A spec sheet does not tell you how often a bonus genuinely triggers, nor how much time passes between two interesting sequences. A few dozen spins in demo show it immediately, particularly on high-volatility titles.
It is also the way to compare two neighbouring titles before choosing. Two dice slots can post the same return to player and deliver opposite sensations, one scattering small regular wins, the other saving everything for a handful of decisive spins. The whole catalogue is open to trial from the all games page.
Registration runs through itsme or through your electronic identity card. Nothing to retype, no document to photograph: identity and age are verified in a single step, before the account becomes usable.
There is nothing arbitrary about it, the law requires it. It is also the dividing line with platforms outside that framework, where an email address and a password sometimes suffice. Straight afterwards, you set the deposit limit you allow yourself, within the ceiling the law provides.
Once the account is live, the register of excluded persons is consulted automatically at every login, with nothing required from you.
Deposits go through Bancontact, Paysafecard or a Visa or Mastercard debit card. You will not find a credit card on that list, and it is not an oversight: Belgian law keeps them off gambling sites, precisely to stop a playing budget from being built on credit.
Withdrawal is the other half of the equation, and usually the half discovered too late. Waiting three working days to collect a win remains the most widespread frustration in the sector, complete with the famous processing that only resumes on Monday morning.
Here, the money leaves the gaming balance and reaches the bank account in a handful of seconds, whether the request goes out on a Tuesday lunchtime or a Sunday at eleven at night. The procedure is set out on the instant payout page.
What a licensed operator is allowed to offer is tightly framed by Belgian law. The player gains from it: promotions with one-sided conditions, common enough outside the legal framework, simply have no place here.
Hence a daily cadence rather than occasional fireworks. Three Boosts wait every day in the player area, each attached to a specific title and worth half as much again on the winnings achieved, with no minimum stake and nothing to claim.
The tournaments run alongside: morning and evening for €100 in prizes, plus a monthly leaderboard worth €500. Entry costs one cent and the standings can be followed live. Current offers are gathered in the site's promotions section.
Better said plainly, as it saves disappointment: this site offers no sports betting, no network poker and no lottery. The licence covers online arcade games, and the decision was to dig into that ground rather than spread thin.
That also explains the size of the catalogue. Where a generalist displays ten thousand titles of which the vast majority will never be launched, a tighter selection means every game has a reason to be there, with a page explaining how it works.
Everything launches from the browser, with no detour through an app store and no updates to keep track of. The layout rearranges itself to the screen size available and the buttons grow as soon as a finger replaces a mouse.
Break off on the phone, pick up on the desktop: balance, history and limits are attached to your login, never to the device.
One useful note on dice games: their grids stay perfectly legible at small size, unlike certain five-reel, twenty-line machines that become unreadable below six inches. The house speciality therefore lends itself particularly well to the phone.
Casino King operates under licence number B+19763, granted by the Belgian gambling regulator. That licence requires certified games, connection to the EPIS register that blocks access for excluded persons, and a minimum age set at 21 with no exemption possible.
It also requires giving you the means to limit yourself. From your profile, lowering a ceiling takes effect at once, while raising it waits out a cooling-off period. That imbalance is deliberate: it protects against a decision taken in the moment.
Temporary time-out and self-exclusion are triggered in the same place. The responsible gaming page sets out those settings and gives the contact details of Belgian support services, free of charge and anonymous. The operator's identity appears on the about us page.
None at all. The browser is enough, whatever the device. Only opening an account may go through the itsme app.
One puts you in charge of placing dice on a grid, decision after decision. The other is a slot dressed in dice: once the spin starts, nothing further depends on you.
Not before 21, and no exemption exists. The check happens when the account is opened, so ahead of any stake.
A few seconds to the bank account, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Yes, demo mode runs on a play-money balance and requires no registration at all.
Because Belgian regulation prohibits it on gambling sites. Only debit cards are accepted, alongside Bancontact and Paysafecard.
No. The same game can exist in several versions, and the operator chooses which to offer. Rely on the in-game help of the site where you play.
From your profile. A reduction takes effect immediately, an increase involves waiting out a cooling-off period.
